The STS (Standard Transfer Specification) is an Open Architecture
initially introduced in South Africa in 1993, for the transfer of electricity prepayment tokens. Subsequently published by the IEC (International
Electro technical Commission) as an International standard IEC62055-41,51. Now it also becomes popular for Water & Gas Meters with following
advantages:
1.1 Compatibility.
Inter-operability between system components from different manufacturers of prepayment systems;
1.2 Easy Data (Water Volume/Credit) Transfer.
Water Credit/Volume transfer via 20 digits Token, no External Data transfer Media (Token-less);
1.3 Flexible Water Purchase (Prepaid Mode switchable to postpaid) that makes it much more convenient and easier.
1.3.1 Flexible Water Purchase Way at appointed agencies via POS or cash, Customer Self-service Mobile Phone via APP, USSD or by E-payment.
1.3.2 Customer self-service via Mobile phone, either through APP or USSD, by E-payment
2 STS Prepaid/Postpaid Water Meter System consists of following components.

2.2 Split Customer Interface Unit (CIU) for Meter Recharge & Data Query- touchable LCD keypad with English language display.
2.3 Hardware & Digital Billing Management System (HDMS) for Water Vending, Monitoring, Data Management & Statistics
2.4 Mobile Water Vending Solution via POS or Mobile Phone with integration to local E-payment Platform and banks

3.1 STS Smart water meter with LCD Display - Lorawan Gprs GSM 4G NB- IoT Wireless Comm Module integrated for meter recharge and data query. Comply with International STS Standard IEC62055-41,51
3.2 Customer Interface Unit (CIU) for Meter Recharge - Integrating LoRa or Lorawan Wireless Com. Module in both Meter and CIU Part, it supports
Meter Recharge & Data Query via CIU through RF Wireless Comm. The communication distance is around 100-200m in residential area and
should be programmable.
